Civil War Confederate CSA General Officer Kepi Forage Cap — Authentic Infantry Hat

Command attention on the battlefield and in the display case with the Civil War Confederate CSA Colonel and Major Infantry Officer Kepi Forage Cap — a premium-quality replica headpiece crafted for serious re-enactors, militaria collectors, and American Civil War history enthusiasts.

Faithfully reproduced from original Confederate States Army (CSA) officer kepis of the 1861–1865 period, this forage cap captures every defining detail of the senior infantry officer's field dress. The Colonel and Major rank insignia, period-correct construction, and authentic silhouette make this one of the most accurate CSA officer kepis available on the market today.

The kepi's distinctive low-profile crown, slanted visor, and regulation officer colouring reflect the dress standards prescribed by the Confederate War Department for field-grade infantry officers. Whether worn as part of a full living history impression or displayed alongside other Civil War militaria, this replica delivers the visual authority and historical integrity that discerning collectors demand.

Built from durable materials consistent with 19th-century military headwear construction, the cap holds its shape and finish through both display and active reenactment use. The interior is finished for comfort and longevity, making it as practical in the field as it is impressive on a shelf.
