Civil War Confederate Kepi Hat | Artillery Officers Grey Cap

Command attention with period-perfect authenticity — the Civil War Confederate Kepi Hat for Artillery Officers is an expertly crafted grey forage cap that brings the military distinction of the Confederate Army's artillery corps to life.

Modelled faithfully after the regulation headwear worn by Confederate artillery officers during the American Civil War (1861–1865), this grey kepi captures every hallmark of the originals: the characteristic sloping crown, the stiffened visor, and the officer-grade construction that set commissioned men apart from enlisted ranks. The artillery branch is represented through its distinctive grey colourway — the signature of the Confederate Regular Army officer corps — making this kepi instantly recognisable to re-enactors, historians, and collectors alike.

Crafted with close attention to period accuracy, this replica is built to meet the standards demanded by living history participants and serious militaria collectors. Whether worn at a Civil War battle re-enactment, displayed alongside authentic artefacts, or used as a costume piece for theatrical or film production, it delivers the authoritative look of a Confederate artillery officer ready for the field.

Its durable construction ensures it holds its shape through repeated use, while the traditional styling means it pairs naturally with Confederate frock coats, shell jackets, and officer-grade accoutrements.
