Civil War Confederate CSA Lieutenant Infantry Kepi Forage Cap

Command the field with the Civil War Confederate CSA Lieutenant Infantry Kepi Forage Cap — a meticulously crafted replica headpiece designed for re-enactors, collectors, and Civil War history enthusiasts who demand period-accurate detail.

Faithfully reproduced after the regulation kepis worn by Confederate States Army (CSA) Lieutenant-rank infantry officers during the American Civil War (1861–1865), this forage cap captures the defining style of the Southern soldier. The kepi's structured brim, sloped crown, and branch-of-service colouring reflect the authentic uniform standards of the Confederate infantry, making it an ideal piece for living history events, museum displays, and serious militaria collections.

The cap features period-correct construction with attention to rank insignia placement and fabric colour consistent with Confederate Lieutenant specifications. Whether you're portraying an infantry officer on the battlefield or adding a rare artefact to your display cabinet, this kepi delivers the authenticity and craftsmanship your collection deserves.

Kepis of this style were among the most iconic headwear pieces of the Civil War era, worn across both Union and Confederate lines — but the CSA infantry variant, with its distinctive colouring and Officer's rank markings, holds a special place in American military history. This replica honours that legacy with care.
