Civil War Confederate General Artillery Officer Kepi Forage Cap | Authentic Replica

Command the battlefield with the Civil War Confederate General Artillery Officer Kepi Forage Cap — a museum-quality replica crafted for serious re-enactors, military collectors, and Civil War history enthusiasts who settle for nothing less than authentic detail.

Faithfully reproduced from original Confederate Army regulation headwear of the 1861–1865 period, this forage cap captures the distinguished markings of a Confederate General-grade Artillery officer. The kepi features the period-correct scarlet red band — the artillery branch colour — along with the correct braid and insignia placement that denoted General officer rank within the Confederate States Army. Every seam, proportion, and finish has been reproduced with strict attention to 19th-century military tailoring standards.

Constructed from quality materials that replicate the weight, drape, and hand-feel of original wool kepis, this replica is equally suited to full-dress living history events, static museum displays, theatrical productions, and private collections. The structured brim and authentic crown shape deliver the commanding silhouette synonymous with Confederate high command.

Whether you are building a complete General's impression for a re-enactment event, adding a distinguished centrepiece to your Civil War militaria display, or seeking an authoritative prop for film or photography, this artillery officer kepi delivers the accuracy and presence your project demands.
